Objectives: | On completion of this subject students should be able to:

Content: | An examination of the management of human resources within an organisation from the view of satisfying organisational and personal needs. Topics include: the function of the Human Resources Management department; the acquisition, development, motivation and maintenance of human resources; environmental and legal issues. | |
Assessment: | Field/case studies totalling up to 5000 words (50%); a 2-hour examination (50%). Students must perform satisfactorily in each area of assessment and submit all assignment work. | |
