A minimum of 18 weeks of approved, relevant employment, supervised by both a workplace and an academic supervisor

Objectives:

On completion of this subject students should be able to:

  • competently perform duties as outlined in the position description/job goals;

  • use initiative and handle problem-solving tasks independently;

  • function as an effective team member and contribute positively to the work outcome of the team;

  • communicate effectively and confidently at all levels of the organisation;

  • display skill competency in managing complex computer-based activities: and

  • display knowledge and conceptual understanding of the organisation within the context of its total business environment.

Content:

Supervised professional practice within an approved work environment.

Assessment:

Satisfactory completion of a minimum of 18 weeks' supervised professional practice.
