Objectives: | On completion of the subject, students should be able to:

Content: | 2 x 15 day blocks of School Experience, normally undertaken in June and October/November. Through direct experiences, the subject provides for understanding and/or development of: functioning of primary schools and their relationships with their communities; curriculum in practice and associated teaching strategies and resources; refinement of personal professional skills through the implementation of planned learning programs for children which are extended in their educational scope. | |
Assessment: | 30 days of supervised school experience (100%). | |
