Objectives: | On completion of this subject students should be able to:

Content: | Needs assessments, design options, elements of session planning, development and use of instructional aids, training/teaching practice; trainee assessment; session evaluation; theoretical underpinnings of session planning including communication and questioning strategies. | |
Assessment: | One portfolio relating theory to practice (50%) and one program or work unit equivalent to 1500 words (50%) each based on the Workplace Learning Agreement. | |
