Objectives: | On completion of this subject students should be able to:

Content: | An introduction to selected learning theories, concrete and abstract thinking; theories of intelligence; strategies for identifying the learning needs of individuals and a consideration of individual learning, teaching and training styles and how these may affect communication in education and training. | |
Assessment: | A report of 1800 words (50%) and an essay of 1800 words (50%). | |
