Objectives: | On completion of this subject students should be able to:

Content: | A study of the theoretical and empirical work relevant to child development and its practical applications including sensory, perceptual, motor language, cognitive and social development. The aspects of development will be integrated through a child study. | |
Assessment: | Two essays of 1500 words each or equivalent tasks (60%); and a 2-hour examination (40%). | |
