Objectives: | On completion of this subject students should be able to:

Content: | Approaches to formulating, implementing and evaluating programs for children aged 0-3 years. Frameworks and strategies for planning learning experiences in mathematics and science for young children. | |
Assessment: | Three curriculum projects (60%) totalling 3000 words comprising mathematics (30%), curriculum (20%), science (10%); and a practicum assessment (40%). Satisfactory completion of 24 days practicum and related practical and theoretical work as specified in the Practicum Handbook. Students must pass both written and practicum assessment requirements. | |
