Five hours per week: 3-hours of lectures, one 1-hour tutorial and one 1-hour practical class

Content:

This subject is a continuation of semester one linguistically but extends the literary period into the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries as well as considering the destructive influence of Western civilisation.

Assessment:

One 2000-word assignment (30%); one book review of 1500-words (20%); 15-minute oral presentation (20%); and 3-hour examination (30%).
