Subject Description: | An introduction to the principles of generative phonological analysis: includes a look at the major issues relating to different approaches to phonology; as well as formal phonological analysis. | |
Assessment: | Regular assignment problems and a project paper, totalling 5000 words at third-year level and 6000 words at fourth-year level. | |
