Subject Description: | An advanced study of contemporary issues and problems in the philosophy of mind. Students should develop knowledge in the area and relevant research skills. | |
Assessment: | One 3-hour end-of-semester examination. An alternative assessment by up to 4000 words of essay-work (either during the semester or as a take-away examination) may be permitted; students unable to complete this essay by the due date will be required to sit the examination. Students will be advised in the first week of the subject if this option is available. | |
