Subject Description: | An examination of philosophical theories (particularly in the philosophy of mind) that have influenced psychological and computational theorising, leading to an appreciation of the interdisciplinary connections uniting the most abstract and most specific areas of cognitive science. | |
Assessment: | Two essays each of no more than 3000 words, submitted at mid-semester and end (50%). | |
