Subject Description: | Contemporary epistemology; in particular, the structure of empirical and a priori knowledge. Students will develop an understanding of the issues raised in the subject, and the ability to argue for relevant conclusions in an alert and well-informed way. | |
Assessment: | One 2-hour end-of-semester examination (50 %) and an assignment of no more than 3000 words (50 %). | |
