Subject Description:

Advanced spoken and written Chinese. By the conclusion of this subject students should have reached approximately the same level as Chinese 3A. They should be able to read and speak in Chinese about such topics as population, education and employment.

Assessment:

One oral examination (10 minutes); one written examination (2 hours); homework to a maximum of 1800 words. Students are required to attend a minimum of 70% of all classes in order to be eligible to take the final examinations.
