Subject Description:

A post-elementary subject in basic Chinese. By the end of this subject students will know 600 Chinese characters, and will have a good grasp of basic grammatical structures. They will also have acquired post-elementary listening and speaking skills.

Assessment:

One aural/oral examination (1 hour); assignments & short written tests (maximum 4000 words); one written exam (1 hour). Students will be required to attend a minimum of 70% of all classes in order to be eligible to take the examinations.
