Subject Description:

A basic course in reading and writing for students with VCE-level oral skills. Students who complete this subject should be able to read, write and pronounce the 400 characters covered in Chinese 1A and 1B, and be adequately prepared to undertake Chinese 2A and 2B.

Assessment:

One two hour examination at the end of the semester. Students are required to attend a minimum of 70% of all classes in order to be eligible to take the examination.
