Subject Description:

Advanced modern literary texts including study of contemporary Hebrew Writers in prose and poetry; modern conversational idiom; newspaper and academic articles. Reading and understanding of advanced scientific and academic articles and essays.

Assessment:

150-349: Regular exercises, essays and class tests (50%) and a 2-hour examination (50%). 150-449: Written work, tests and examinations totalling no more than 6000 words.
