Prerequisite/s:

Any two Arts subjects or permission of the Head of Department. No knowledge of the Modern Greek language is presupposed.

Subject Description:

Reasons for Greek emigration to Australia, the structures and nature of the Greek community and its organisations in Australia, the preoccupations and problems of Greeks in Australia.

Assessment:

3000 words of written work (50 %) and a 2-hour examination (50 %).
