150-225/325 Advanced Indonesian Level 1A

Prerequisite/s:

The prerequisite for Advanced Indonesian Level 1A is normally Intermediate Indonesian B.

Semester 1

Contact:

Four hours per week, and one hour self-study in the language laboratory per week

Subject Description:

An advanced subject in which students are trained to discuss, read and write with confidence about a wide variety of topics in Indonesian. Indonesian reading materials include a variety of short literary texts and articles about current events in Indonesia.

Assessment:

Written assignments totalling 4000 words, a short oral exam and a 2-hour written examination.

Materials prepared by the Department.
