Subject Description:

Modern Hebrew literary texts; modern conversational idiom and grammar. Enriched knowledge of the language through the use of modern Hebrew literature, the modern idiom spoken in Israel today, its vocabulary, grammar and syntax, to prepare for a broader range of expertise.

Assessment:

1st, 2nd and 3rd year: Regular exercises, essays, class tests and an oral test (50%) and a 2-hour examination (50%). 4th year: Written work, tests and examinations totalling no more than 6000 words.
