Objectives: | At the conclusion of the subject students will have:

Content: | Acquisition and expansion of language skills through intensive language training and a variety of special studies. (For details of these Special Studies units see departmental Course and Subject Guide). | |
Assessment: | A two-hour language test at the end of semester (40%), a one-hour listening comprehension test (10%), an oral exam (10%), two Special Studies tests (15% each) and regular vocabulary tests throughout the semester (10%). | |
