Subject Description: | China's physical landscape. Political system, economic reform and foreign investment. Birth control and feeding a billion mouths. Urbanisation and industrialisation. Sustainable development and environmental degradation. | |
Assessment: | One 3500 word essay; a 90-minute final examination. Weightings of components of assessment will be advised at the start of semester. | |
