Contact:

Three hours of advanced language teaching each week

Content:

Intensive practice in advanced translation (from and into Italian) and advanced Italian composition. Students will be exposed to, and will work through, a number of different styles and registers. An in-depth study of a work of contemporary literature for the purpose of extending vocabulary and practising Italian conversation.

Assessment:

One 700-word composition in Italian; an oral test; two hours of written texts; continuous assessment.
