Content: | A systematic revision and consolidation of the basic structures of the Italian language. Grammatical explanations will be integrated by regular weekly exercises, oral and written, and by a weekly conversation practice, so as to extend the range of vocabulary and improve fluency. Students will be introduced to a small number of contemporary literary texts in order to improve their standard of comprehension and to gain some understanding of the process of literary and cultural criticism. | |
Assessment: | Not more than three hours of written tests. One 1500-word essay. Continuous assessment. | |
