Content:

This subject will focus on interactions between literary and cultural studies, emphasising the fate of literary theory in an era of cultural studies. The relation between deconstruction and the new historicism on the one side and the politics of identity on the other will be of special interest.

Assessment:

Written work of not more than 6000 words.
