Subject Description: | This subject will focus upon historical problems that necessitate both textual evidence and material evidence for study and interpretation. Semester 2 will concentrate on problems in the later ancient world, and may include topics such as imperial imagery, slavery, ethnicity, architecture and ritual. | |
Assessment: | Written work, tests and examinations totalling no more than 6000 words. | |
