Content: | This subject will focus upon historical problems that necessitate both textual evidence and material evidence for study and interpretation. Semester 1 will concentrate on problems in the earlier Near Eastern and Greek world, and may include topics such as writing, colonisation, Homer and the Iron Age, tyranny. | |
Assessment: | Written work, tests and examinations totalling no more than 6000 words. | |
