Subject Description:

The buildings, tragic and comic texts, and theatrical traditions of Greece and Rome.

Assessment:

3000 words of written work (50%) and a 2-hour examination (50%).

  • Sophocles, The Theban Plays, Penguin.
  • Euripides, Alcestis and Other Plays, Penguin.
  • Plautus, The Pot of Gold and Other Plays, Penguin.
