104-143 Classical Greece: Myth and Reality

Subject Description:

An introduction to the society, literature and culture of Classical Greece. Students on completion of the subject should have acquired a knowledge of the historical, social and cultural development of Classical Greece, and have acquired critical and analytical skills in the study of relevant documents, images and texts.

Assessment:

Written work of 2000 words (50%) and a 2-hour examination (50%).
