Subject Description:

Revision of elements; additional grammar and syntax; reading literary texts; translation exercises; background lectures on Roman culture.

Assessment:

Regular exercises and class tests (30%) and a 2-hour examination (70%).

  • Wheeler F M, Latin Grammar, 5th revised ed., Harper Collins.
  • Groton Ann and James May, Latin Stories, Bolchazy - Carducci, 5th ed., 1995.
