Subject Description: | An extension of building law giving detailed treatment of select topics of particular relevance to building and construction including contracts and contractual disputation, insurance, professional liability, taxation, building regulations, planning law, the law of property, arbitration, mediation and conciliation. The parties to industrial relations; the wage fixing system; developments in industrial relations particularly affecting the building industry. | |
Assessment: | One examination of up to 2 hours duration; assignments equivalent to not more than 5000 words. | |
