Subject Description:

Structures and Construction 3B is an extension of the structural behaviour, design and construction given in Structures and Construction 3A. More advanced aspects of design detailing and documentation of concrete, steel and timber buildings. Prefabrication of building elements. Precast concrete and steel erection. Concrete ground slab and basement construction.

Assessment:

One 2-hour examination paper. Written and drawn assignments and tests equivalent to not more than 5000 words.
