- appreciate many of the wider aspects of physics;
- have acquired skills in the critical evaluation of oral presentations.
Content:
Typical seminar areas: recent advances in physics; the physics research scene in the School of Physics, elsewhere in Australia, and overseas; physics in industry; the efficient use of scientific literature; report and paper writing; the impact of physics on society.
