610-220 Organic Chemistry

Note:

  1. Special Requirements: Practical Bound A-4 notebook, and a set of Darling or Allyn and Bacon molecular models. Students must collect the 200-level "Organic Chemistry Practical Course " manual.
  2. Credit cannot be gained for both 610-220 and 610-221.

Credit points: 12.0

Stereochemistry, aromaticity, and polyfunctional compounds: elementary heterocyclic chemistry.

Assessment:

One 2-hour end-of-semester written examination; a short written test on the practical component. Practical work will be continuously assessed, and the practical work must be completed satisfactorily before credit can be granted.
