Note: Must be taken concurrently with 577-497 Otolaryngology Advanced Coursework (20 Points).
Content:
Each student will undertake a supervised research project, complete a report on their work, and present two departmental seminars on their work.
Assessment:
Hurdle Requirement:
Submission of a literature review (of not more than 1,500 words) on the research project early in the year.
Assessed Items:
- A written report (thesis) at the end of the year, not exceeding 15,000 words (70% of the total mark for Honours as a whole).
- Two departmental seminars, one early in the year and one towards the end of the year, on the research work (totalling 10% of the total mark for Honours as a whole).
