534-308 Toxicology (Practical)

Note: This subject must be taken in conjunction with 534-307. Experiments involving the use of animals are an essential part of this subject; exemption is not possible.

Content:

The action of commonly-used drugs such as paracetamol, and common environmental pollutants such as lead, examined on cell and tissue models.

Assessment:

Continuous assessment throughout the subject; a 1-hour computer based practical examination.
