Contact: 54 hours practical work (nine a week, first six weeks only)

Objectives:
By the end of the subject students should:Have developed:
- skills in the design, conduct and interpretation of experiments in immunology.
- skills in communicating the results of the experiments, both orally and in written reports.
Appreciate:
- the necessity to keep clear laboratory notes as experiments progress;
- the quantitative and qualitative aspects of interpretation of experimental results.
- An Understanding:
- of how to design and execute an immunological investigation.
Content:
A choice from a number of experimental projects will be offered.
Assessment:
Laboratory work; a written report of up to 3,000 words.
