Elective Music subject.

Prerequisite: 740-236 Practical Study 2
Contact: A 45 minute individual lesson each week; a weekly 1.5 hour Concert Class; other classes as arranged.
Objectives:
On completion of this subject, students should have further developed their instrumental or vocal technique and awareness of stylistic and interpretative characteristics of the repertoire studied.
Content:
Further development of repertoire studied in Practical Study 2.
Assessment:
(a) A 20-minute examination at the end of the year of an approved program of pieces. Programs must be submitted to the coordinator for approval no later than August 1. (b) Satisfactory attendance at Concert Class.
