Contact: A 1.5 hour workshop a week all year.
Objectives:
On completion of this subject students will have achieved an overview of the technical demands of the orchestral repertoire and differing styles required for orchestral work; a thorough knowledge of orchestral excerpts likely to be used in professional auditions.
Assessment:
Practical test of selected excerpts (60 per cent); participation in workshops (40 per cent).
