Prerequisite: 740-136 Practical Study 1.
Contact: 45 minutes per week individual lesson; weekly 1.5 hour Concert Class; other classes as arranged.
Timetable: Double semester.
Objectives:
At the end of the subject students should have further developed instrumental or vocal technique, and awareness of the stylistic and interpretative characteristics of the repertory studied.
Content:
Further development of the areas studied in Practical Study 1.
Assessment:
(a) A 25-minute examination at the end of year of an approved program of pieces. -Programs must be submitted to the coordinator for approval not later than 1 August; (b) before proceeding to (a), students must have completed satisfactory attendance at Concert Class.
