Objectives:
By the end of the subject, students should be able to pronounce for singing with precision and musical rhythm the two languages studied.
Content:
Elementary phonetic theory and its application to singing. Pronunciation and enunciation for singers of the following languages (note that groups are offered in alternate years): Group 1: English, Italian; Group 2: French, German.
Assessment:
Regular oral and written exercises (50 per cent); end of semester tests (50 per cent).
