Contact: 45 minutes per week individual lesson; weekly 1.5 hour Concert Class, other classes as arranged.
Objectives:
On completion of this subject students should have developed instrumental or vocal technique, and awareness of the stylistic and interpretative characteristics of the repertory studied.
Content:
Individually-designed program of repertoire.
Assessment:
(a) A 25-minute examination at the end of the year of an approved program of pieces. Programs must be submitted to the coordinator for approval not later than 1 August; (b) before proceeding to (a), students must pass a 10 minute mid-year technical examination and have completed satisfactory attendance at Concert Class.
