421-452 Construction Methods and Works Organisation

Contact: 18 hours of lectures and 6 practice classes

Timetable: Second semester

Objectives:

Throughout this course a student will enhance their understanding of a wide range of specialist construction techniques used in Engineering and how these techniques are best applied.

Content:

Procedures and practice in civil engineering work. Construction techniques and applications.

Assessment:

Up to 4 assignments of not more than 5,000 words each and a two-hour examination at the end of the semester (40% assignment, 60% examination).
