Physical Education

Overview

Physical Education is offered as a discipline-based Personal Development study to students enrolled in the BEd (Primary) course, enabling them to achieve 'specialist' status in Directorate of School Education primary schools. Students preparing to teach in secondary schools may undertake subjects in this area to prepare them to teach Physical Education, but not at 'specialist' level in Directorate of School Education secondary colleges.

The Physical Education sequence is currently being phased out. However, Physical Education B1 may be available in 1996 to repeating students. Please contact the Faculty Office for details.

*
BEd (Primary) students should also refer to the entry under Health and Environmental Studies.
