Legal Studies


Overview

Legal Studies subjects are offered by the Faculty of Law, and are designed both for intending teachers of Legal Studies and for those seeking an understanding of the role of the law in society.

The completion of one or more units of C-level Legal Studies will provide a three year specialisation, which is an advantage for teaching.

Legal Studies C2 is not available to those undertaking BSocSc(InfoMgt).


Legal Studies A1 and A2

These subjects are available in 1996 for repeating students. Please refer to the Education Faculty Office for details.


Legal Studies B1 and B2

Prerequisites: Legal Studies A or Legal Studies A1 and A2, or approved equivalent.


Legal Studies C1, C2 and C3

Prerequisites: Any two of Legal Studies B1, Legal Studies B2 or Legal Studies B3.


Teaching Method in Business Studies (Legal Studies)

Prerequisites: Legal Studies A, and any two of Legal Studies B1, Legal Studies B2 or Legal Studies B3, or approved equivalent.
