History subjects are offered by the Department of History in the Faculty of Arts. Teaching Method subjects are offered by the Faculty of Education.
Twenty five points in first year level History is the normal prerequisite for all subjects offered at second year.
The prerequisite for third-
year History is normally 33.3 points in any second-
year History subject/s. The corequisite of any single-
semester subject is normally another single-
semester subject in the other semester.
Students completing 58.3 points of History (normally 25 points at first year level and 33.3 points at second-year level) are eligible to undertake Teaching Method in History or Teaching Method in Social Studies.
A threshold requirement for the acceptance of work for evaluation is satisfactory attendance at tutorials. This is a minimum of 50% attendance.
