Health Education

Overview

Studies in Health Education cover issues of personal and community health and aim to prepare students to teach Health Education in the primary school as part of the Curriculum Standards Framework. They also prepare students to teach in secondary schools implementing the Curriculum Standards Framework and the VCE Health Education Study. The sequence of studies has been approved as satisfying minimum qualification requirements for vacancies in Health Education in Ministry of Education secondary colleges

The Health Education sequence is currently being phased out. However, Health Education B1 may be available in 1996 for repeating students. Please contact the Faculty Office for details. Later year students may continue studies in Health Education subjects.

*BEd (Primary) students should also refer to the entry under Health and Environmental Studies.
