The Art Studies sequence, available to students who enrolled in the BEd (Primary) course prior to 1996, is currently being phased out. Arts Studies A will not be offered in 1996. However, students who have completed Arts Studies A may continue the Arts Studies sequence at second, third and fourth years.
In the second year of Arts Studies you will select an area of specialisation, either Drama or Visual Arts, and will also undertake Complementary Arts Studies. In the third and fourth years you will normally undertake Arts Studies at the C and D levels in your area of specialisation provided you satisfy the necessary prerequisites. You may also be able to enrol in C Level and D Level Studies concurrently, subject to approval.
