Note: This subject is designed for students undertaking Year 4 of the BEd (Primary) course.

Contact: Lecture/seminar presentations, practical sessions and individual and group project work equivalent to approximately three hours a week.
Timetable: First or second semester.
Objectives:
On completion of this subject students should be able to:
- utilise drama skills and techniques to explore an aspect of drama or drama in education; and
- demonstrate an understanding of some of the basic concepts of drama and their application in an educational context.
Content:
This subject is designed for students undertaking Year 4 of the BEd (Primary) course. In consultation with the Lecturer concerned, a special drama program will be devised for each student to suit both their interests and background.
Assessment:
The requirements will vary from student to student depending upon the programs devised. Examples of possible requirements include workshop presentation, performance projects, critical reviews and evaluations, reports, essays and class papers.
