Objectives:
On completion of this subject students should be able to:
- demonstrate an understanding of the institutional context and processes of curriculum in two senior secondary subjects in the field of Business Studies (in addition to the one senior secondary subject covered in Teaching Method in Business Studies 1D); and
- design, teach and evaluate extended and coherent units of work in two senior secondary subjects in the field of Business Studies (in addition to the one senior secondary subject covered in Teaching Method in Business Studies 1D).
Content:
VCE; Study Designs; Curriculum Development and Support Materials in specific VCE studies. Models of curriculum and their application in two senior subjects in Business Studies (in addition to the one senior secondary subject covered in Teaching Method in Business Studies 1D); teaching those two subjects under VCE; strategies, methods and resources for teaching and learning in relation to the prevailing model of curriculum.
Assessment:
Written assignments totalling 2,000 words or equivalent.
