Objectives:
On completion of this subject students should be able to:
- demonstrate an ability to formulate a research question with testable propositions;
- apply appropriate research techniques to a contemporary management or industrial relations issue;
- demonstrate sound analytical and written skills.
Content:
The research topic must be approved by the Head of the Department of Management and Industrial Relations. The research essay should not exceed 15,000 words.
Assessment:
A 10,000-15,000 word Research Essay (80%) and seminar assignments of up to 2,000 words (20%).
